FITTEST FOOTY FANS CHALLENGE

The 2008 AFL season might be behind us, but footy fans can go in to battle for their club in the HBA Great Australian Run on November 30.

Your team might not have taken the premiership home, but you can help it win a unique title.

As part of the first HBA Great Australian Run, organisers have set a unique challenge to decide the club with the fittest footy fans in the league.

Select your favourite AFL team when you enter online at www.greataustralianrun.com.au.

The first 50 male and 50 female finishers for each club will have their times averaged out to determine the team with the fittest fans.

Carlton Football Club may not have made the finals, but will have a leg-up in the fittest footy fans challenge with Australian athletics legend Craig Mottram running for the Blues.

Australian marathon runner Benita Johnson is also sure to be in the top times, running for the Brisbane Lions.

Prizes to be awarded to the winning 100 team members will include $75 gift voucher from ADIDAS and a 2 month free membership of FENIX fitness clubs.

And if you wish, you can raise funds for the preferred charity of your club in the process.
