ELITE ATHLETES
Athletes wishing to secure an elite number and starting position on the assembly area need to have met the following standards since Sept 1st 2007
MEN - 10,000m/10km road Sub 31mins track or certified course road race [Please note 2008 Sandown 10km limit 30m40secs -apprx 20sec shortfall ]
15km - Sub 48 mins in certified course road race
1/2 Marathon - Sub 1hr 7mins 30secs in certified course road race
WOMEN - 10,000m/10km road Sub 38 mins track or certified course road race [Please note 2008 Sandown 10km limit 37m 40secs -apprx 20sec shortfall ]
15km - Sub 58 mins in a certified course road race
1/2 marathon - Sub 1 hr 21m:30s in certified course road race
Numbers to be requested, they will not be automatically issued, please supply personal details and evidence of qualifying performance [ copy of results or website where results can be checked]
First 20 male and 20 female valid requests received, will be allocated free entry status, second 20 male and female qualifying athletes 50% entry fee. Thereafter normal entry fee with request for front grid, elite numbers.
Numbers are not transferrable
